Now we can fly to Cornwall again ,the search resumes for something for my feet.
Our hotel is on some rocks and to access the beach I have to cross a river. My army boots aren’t tall enough ,so I started to look for wellies that will fit in hand luggage. These tend to have thin soles ,so wouldn’t be too good on rocks. Then things like NBC over boots come up. This led me to think about inventing rubble sack overboots purely to wade through the water.
Most of the boots are thin things for glamorous young ladies to wear at Glastonbury,

If you are going to buy wellies anyway just buy them there. Halves the number of arguments with the airline about hand luggage sizes.
