What was that site that sold refurbished high end office chairs?

As per title, and search seems to be letting me down.  Someone relatively recently asked about office chairs and I suggested the IKEA Markus then someone posted a link to some pretty swish looking chairs that were officially refurbished by the manufacturer?  Seem to recall they weren't  great deal more expensive than the Ikea chair.

Thanks

There was 2ndhnd.com but they went into administration ( https://www.insider.co.uk/news/office-furniture-supplier-goes-administration-28277131 ).

I think/recall it was the manufacturer, not a retailer.

I got a refurbished Steelcase Leap from Corporate Spec which has been very good. The first one developed a leak on the lifting mechanism and was replaced without any issue. Would recommend (chair and company).

I also recommended CorporateSpec on the other thread, would be hard to tell my Human scale chair wasn't new other than costing close to 1/4 what a new one from John Lewis does

London Aerons

not as cheap as they used to be.

I bought my aeron, second hand, at least 15 years ago (definitely before we got married) for about £350 which seemed like daft pricing at the time, but apart from maybe needing the arm pads replacing it’s still going strong.

If anyone knows of any of those companies who don’t treat Scotland as if it’s not mainland uk I’d like to know. Just been told by corporatespec this morning that they want an extra hundred quid to ship a chair to Inverness.

2ndhnd was where I bought my Vitra. It’s gone into administration.

I'm typing this from the comfort of my refurb'd Giroflex G64, bought from the Office Crowd.
Took a couple of weeks to arrive as I hadn't realised they refurbish to order but it's here, and I'm in (South) Scotland.

Some of their Google reviews are a bit sketchy but I can't fault my experience with them.

I got a refurbed Giroflex from “Casa Office Furniture” back in 2014 and it was great. They appear to be going still so maybe give them a shout. I lost it to my ex when we seperate and it’s sadly been trashed since and I think skipped in favour of some cheap and nasty thing.

I however found another one at local used furniture shop for £15 which I’ve used since. It’s in need of a refurb itself and I’m half tempted to have a go myself, half tempted to get a company to do it properly as it’s a really nice, solid chair which appears as though it will last for many years apart from some tatty cloth etc.

thanks @jamesmio - I'll drop them a line and see what their wait time is like.

I bought a vitra Eames 117 off someone on here a good few yrs ago, it's brilliant, a real classic, but not as comfy as a vitra mesh back office chair I bought off eBay from some bloke for £40. It was like new and has been my home office go to for the last 3 yrs. They are hundreds new and this thing feels like it's going to outlast me and spares are readily available! Keep your eyes peeled on eBay.
