bump for evening crowd. Thinking about Uniroyal Rain expert 3, Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season, or what?

Kumho are generally good performance at a decent price.
I've used Matador tyres for the last few yrs and they are decent tyres for the price too. Company is owned by Continental.

Might be worth googling 'auto express tyre test'. Will give you a good starting point.

I have just put rain expert 3 on my BMW and am happy with them. Had rainsport 2 before and were also good, especially in the wet (as you might expect). Probably best value vs. performance tyre around.

Thinking about Uniroyal Rain expert 3

Awesome tyre. Great grip in the wet and dry, unless it's above 27 degrees then they seem to squeal and squirm. Had them on several cars now. Usually cheap and on offer somewhere as well.

Just get them, you'll not be disappointed (they really are brilliant in the wet!)

Any comment on wear regarding those Uniroyals? Over and above "normal"?

Great grip in the wet and dry

Cheers, the CRv is always going to handle like a pissed whale, but any improvment in cornering ability would be good.

Wear rate seems OK, not excessive so think you'll be happy. This is highly dependant on vehicle and driving style though, but I reckon they're as good as any other grippy tyre.

The CRV is is thirsty as Welshman on saturday night so 10% reduction of fuel economy is 10% less miles of not many..

Just dropped my CRv in for its black cirlces fitment of the Uniroyal Rain Expert 3. Its pissing down, so when I get it back I'm off to do some roundabout racing.

Right then all fitted fine yesterday, they even saved the correct tyre for the spare, major improvement in grip.
