Just that really! I'm trying to repair something and have never used anything quite like these before.
Google eventually got me to T-Nuts, but they seem to have four sharp prongs designed to dig into things like wood. These only have three prongs designed to locate in corresponding holes (presumably to stop the nut spinning while it is being tightened).
Can anyone give me the correct term to google and/or details of a supplier in the UK?
PS I zoomed in for detail, but they are quite small, probably M3, but I haven't checked the thread yet.

Deez?
Captive nuts
Prong tee
Prong Tee is getting good results thanks 🙂
Poss also try a ‘Brad hole’
They look fairly chunky, helicoil them?
They are actually only the size of a fingernail. Still not sure what thread, but suspect M3 or M4 or maybe imperial as they seem easiest to buy in imperial sizes

You have very small nuts, if you don't mind me saying.
Small, but perfectly formed.... for the purpose that is...
wtf is that Deez thing from as my two nephews were repeatedly saying that phrase for weeks earlier this year and it was doing my head in

That's ok, looks like there's plenty of material relative to the hole diameter so should still helicoil fine.
