I'm completely out of touch with this technology.

What I'm looking for is a device that will allow me to track my miles, ascent and route but will also give me a UK grid reference for navigation. The smaller and lighter the better but I also don't want to spend silly money.

Any suggestions?

Ta

I should probably add that I want a dedicated device as I don't have and don't plan to get a smart phone.

I've got a Motorola defy smart phone that I'm looking to move on. Used it for gps, water resistant and a nice big touch screen compared to a normal gps unit. The microphone doesn't work so your can't use it as a phone, but yours for £27.50 if you're interested?
