Box Kit[/url] for Christmas and I really enjoyed building it (it required soldering and bolting together), but now I've finished I'd like something else to build, what could I get that would be a good, interesting, challenge? (I've recently built a new bike so want something different and I'm not interested in computer programming so the Raspberry Pi thing wouldn't be much good). Thanks

when I was doing my degree (electronics) I bought one of these from Maplin, or possibly RS, and built it up over time. I then added speakers, a turntable & a cassette player (yes, it was a while ago) on the cheap

Someone on another thread was going to make an iPhone dock speaker, or perhaps it was a wi-fi speaker.
Sounded like a great idea to me. Speakers are one of those things that are very simple and the prices are mainly in the cabinet build.
Lots of kits around, or you could just make one up.
Make an actual periodic table with real elements.
