Going through my mums stuff the other day and found some old Beatles LPs in amongst the stuff. The vinyl itself is in poor condition but the covers are in ok shape. They just don’t seem like something that should go in the bin so am wondering how I might be able to get them into the hands of someone who could use them. Not looking to make any money from them really.
Any suggestions other than see if there’s any takers on eBay?
Speaking to some vinyl addicts and a dealer recently, Beatles vinyl is suffering a double whammy - interested generation are dying off & kids like you are trying to offload what they think is their parents goldmine...
Watching with interest, I uplifted my deceased parents' collection recently.
It will depend entirely on the stuff you’ve got. IIRC, the originals in Mono on the black label are worth the most.
Have a look on Discogs. The grading system (Mint-Poor) is applied to both the sleeve(s) and vinyl itself; you'll often find near mint sleeves with poor vinyl still fetching decent money if it's a desirable release.

Do any of them have the fab four covered in blood and playing with bits of doll?
