Got a fancy looking but pretty outdated Shuttle mini pc, like below. With Pentium 4 and 2Gb ram it's not likely to be worth anything, and I'll take the HD out for security. Anyone know of any charities who might want it?

Cheers

Why wouldn't it be worth anything?

I might want it. My aunts pc is shot. If you turn if off you can't turn it on for a day. She only uses it for email so doesnt need bells n whistles. Would you post?

I'll give you a nominal fee (postage + beer) for it if Grant doesn't want it.

Ah, great! Maybe should have put this in the 'for sale' forum! I thought a fairly out of date processor would not make it worth anything. Postage will be £10.50+VAT with senditnow. Will email Grant first, other dibs in order.

I'll take the HD out still I'm afraid, but you could get a small cheap one easily. One of the flaps covering the CD drive is a bit dodgy, but still works and the drive itself is fine. Has a multi memory card reader on the front and a wifi card installed on the back, although I can't remember if that ever actually worked. Ethernet cable gets it on the net though.

Cheers
