Same applies to a load of brand new unopened VHS cassettes.

firelighters
doorstops
weight training weights
as for vhs, decorate a bush for some retro 80s themed fun.
I couldn't give my VHS cassettes away to the guys working at the tip.

Disgraceful. They should be grateful that you're trying to unload all you 90s tech on to them. 🙂
Charity shops won't take them either. They just take up too much room and nobody buys them - even at 50p each.

Blank ones?
If so hold on to them for 30+ years - you'll get a fortune for them then from some collector of 80s tech!
