My petrol strimmer has terminally fallen apart but the motor is perfectly serviceable.
What can I use it for that would provide an interesting project for the kids and I?

I have a gubbed petrol lawnmower in my garage.. Biding its time till my sons old enough to pilot something petrol driven!
I always wanted to build a hovercraft! Not sure a strimmer motor would have the oomph, though.
