We have a single built in wardrobe that we have converted to an airing cupboard (using a small tube heater controlled by a thermostatic switch) but I was thinking I could improve it by insulating the wardrobe - I am thinking it would need to be thin and something that won't dust up, crack, crumble etc (as we are drying clean clothes in there) - so nothing like insulated plasterboard.

So - what are my options?

Staple some Silver TLX in there? Probably wont get a small enough roll of it though so try some double foil bubble insulation which you can get in smaller batches and for less from eBay

Hmm yes, that looks the ticket. I had seen it before but couldn't work out how I would fit it, but stapling is a good idea.

Cheers.

I'm planning on using some of this stuff on a job I've got coming up soon. Haven't used it myself yet, but reviews seem good.

The foil/bubble stuff is very good, I've used it with good effect on the interior of a metal garage door.

I fitted it using double-sided tape, maybe 10mm wide.
