For heavens sake don't show that to bencooper or Porter_jamie. We'll be overrun with the damn things
Beautiful piece of metal! I like! 😀
Looks like Flight of the Navigator on the pull.
Next time Mrs PB says she's going shopping for a new top I'll brace myself.
'A beautiful experience with every touch'
Thank you Canada
I need the titanium one.
NSFW!!!!
Depends where you work.
Stainless steel is better but must come with certain weight.
I had a rather similar one in lead when I was a kid.
I had a plastic one from a xmas cracker, was bored with it by the third go.
A fool and his money?
Now I'm getting a cleft pallet charity, whats happening
I don't need one, do I ?
Have already got yo-yo and boading balls.
Must resist...must.
Had to google that, thought baoding balls were going to be up there with meatspin.
How about one in tungsten? Lots of mass to keep it spinning.
Ha, just had a dig around on the site and they do a tungsten one, their 'champion' top.
Very tactile things, those tops.
There must be an optimum mass based on how much force you can produce to make it spin.
Too light and you can't transfer all the energy. Too heavy and you can't spin it sufficiently fast enough to make use of the stable period before it falls over.
I must admit the copper, bronze, brass and cast iron are very appealing, especially the bronze and copper; brass patinates nicely as well, I've got a couple of brass Zippos, which are developing their own character over time.
One of these tops would make a nice pressy to myself for my birthday...
Thanks for the link! 😀
