Just had an offer accepted on a new build property, albeit that its been empty for 3 years. I'm not sure yet if there will be any warranty on the property, but tend to think there will be as it might have made it difficult to get a mortgage on for some potential buyers otherwise. Its been built on piles due to heavy clay soil but I've not spotted any cracks which is good. If a warranty is evident then is it still prudent to get a full structural survey?
