Just played "Fotheringay" by Fairport Convention. Solo vocal/acoustic guitar. Very familiar with the track, but this was the first time I've been able to hear Sandy Denny's breath passing through her throat as she sings. 😯 😀 8)

slowoldman - MemberSmall comment on MrWoppit's setup. It looks like you have the stands on spikes on tiles. My inclination would be to remove the spikes and seat the stands on blobs of bluetac.
Following reading exactly the same advice on the NAIM forum, I went the whole hog and blu-tac'd the stands to the tile floor and the speakers to the stand tops.
