I'm thinking about getting an airbrush so I can experiment with designs/finishes on the wooden boards I make, not really looking to spend that much as I'd rather have a play and if it works out go buy some better stuff. Can anyone recommend anything suitable, either cheap new or worth hunting down used. I have a large compressor if that's any use.

Premi-Air G35 is pretty good. I used one for a bit before spending more on a better brush. I still use it for 'broad' work like spraying varnishes and clear coats.

Lidl had an airbrush on offer recently. May still be in stock at some stores.
