I, like a lot of people, have been WFHing since March. Now, I've not gone full "loungewear is the new workwear" like some slobs people, but the office was a 'smart trousers and a shirt' kinda place, which clearly I don't need to do at home and instead I am wearing t-shirts, polo shirts etc. pretty much everyday.
Today I put on an actual shirt for about the third time in nine months. Bloody hell, buttons are tricky, aren't they?
People skills, mainly. You ****.
I went outside yesterday.
Didn't like it.
The graphics were shite.

Thanks for making me laugh.
People skills, mainly. You *.
To lose them, you had to have them, *head 😉
My ability to resist the whisky and get up in the morning.

Flicked the news on, saw the president, uncanny valley....gave me nightmares... 1/10 would not do again.

Confidence with people. Really losing that. And confidence on my MTB.
I suspect the main skill I'll have lost is the ability to move through a crowd. When I first moved to rural nowhere-shire 10 years ago it was the first house I'd lived in for a long time where we could easily have people to visit. So for about 9 months rather than go places our social life was consisted of hosting visitors.
The first exception to this was driving 400 miles and stepping out of the car into Friday night Soho - couldnt deal with talking and walking between moving obstacles and not getting run over all at the same time- I was genuinely dizzy.
Putting petrol in the car. I use an all electric shitbox for trips to the supermarket or around town and keep the proper car for journeys over 30 miles. Petrol light came on at the weekend - first time since March
Washing.
Burglary
**** off
I've gone the other way from Nettles and have taken to wearing shirt and tie for work, though I do wear a cravat on occasion. I think the skill I've lost therefore is being able to pretend I'm even vaguely normal and not just a pretentious arse
I’ve gone the other way from Nettles
Wearing a Jersey?
My will to live.
Tolerance of stupidity. ITs always been quite low but having less general contact with people means less exposure.
Real answer
Driving in traffic has become more challenging. I was always really confident, never had an issue. Last month was driving in moderate not even heavy traffic and found it a bit much. Become accustomed to being layed back when driving.
Personal hygiene. With no demarcation between home and office, my trigger to have a shower, clean my teeth and shave / cut hair has gone until my aromas and nasal hair start offending me.
I can't get these joggers off.
I need an emergency tracky bottomy
I've definitely dropped some IQ points over lockdown.
I've had a Corona Smartery Bypass
^^ @perchy 😂🤣
I've noticed that my attention span has got really

Some fuel doesn't like being left that long!
Props for that! Brilliant
I've lost the ability to stay warm. I was working outside for 3 months before Christmas but now am back in the, home, office not moving around. Christ I'm cold, even with the heating on.
I did have hair until April last year though so maybe it because I'm not used to being bald during winter...

Spot on Martin. 🙂
I have way less patience now for the slackers. Most folk at work really stepped up to the huge challenges of last year and have done some amazing work, others have used lockdown and the pandemic as a new way to cover up their ineptitude. In the past I would have let things go, not now.
The ability to make people laugh. The only people I meet now are always sober. God I miss the days when drunk ladies down the pub would laugh at how witty I was.
The ability to see my feet when stood up straight
I don't envy you lot, life it pretty normal for me, compared to a lot of people. I still need to go to the office for work. I even still do the school run!
I know a guy who's just had his Furlough extended until March, he'll have been off work for a full year when that comes to an end. I'd have lost my mind long ago if that was me.
I was never a social animal, but I am starting to wonder why people bother to leave their houses to go and 'see' other people they could just message.
So what small level of social skills I had are likely gone.
Also, tried riding to the office yesterday (not for work purposes of course), seems a lot of the stamina from my thighs is gone now I mostly just walk the dog too.

In that order?
this seems to apply to a few of the above posters

My job has got a lot easier (and much more boring). When it picks back up I hope it’s gradual, otherwise we’ll be in for a bit of a shock for a while.
Shagging..
I use to be a master swordsman (I reckon), but since lockdown the stream of ladies through the front door has dried up..
have you tried lube?
I've lost some social skills for sure, I was never a hugley social person, or so I thought until extended periods of WFH, not meeting people in real life.
When I meet people now, in my very limited frind bubbles, I often struggle to think of anything I can be bothered to say.
I talk too much, and half my life has been spent learning when not to open my mouth, to at least some level of success. Not any more though, give me a human to talk to and off I go.
I had two main office based skills. The first was teh ability to go to the coffee machine just as they were refilling the beans and then blag a free coffee. The second skill was the ability to negotiate bacon and sausage in my breakfast roll (the canteen rules were strictly two of one food type unless buying a doubler roll)
I guess my final skill was disguising how not busy I was. Which makes it doubly frustrating that now I don't have to look busy, I am actually very busy.
I need a coffee
I didn't think I was a social animal, but bloody hell I miss normal interactions with people outside my household.
I've lost the ability to be near strangers. A cyclist pulled up alongside for a chat 2-3 weeks ago, and he proper freaked me out.
The skill of getting served quickly in a busy pub. A fear for a lost generation....
I am losing the ability to care what others think about my opinions. Not sure why i posted this however.
Remembering the last time I washed my jeans.
Do they smell of piss? No? Stick 'em on again.
Not any more though, give me a human to talk to and off I go.
HA pretty much this for me, I'm a terrible conversationalist, if someone asks how i am etc i answer and forget to show interest I actually care a fair bit how people are I just forget to continue the converstaion.
Now though... I want to know everythign about anyone I meet.
Remembering the last time I washed my jeans.
Do they smell of piss? No? Stick ’em on again.
So your main issue is forgetting how to piss straight?
Playing music with a drummer. Totally lost my groove.
Also, having been out of work for nearly a year and actually enjoyed it and have not collapsed financially, I have lost the skill to just take whatever shit sandwich job is offered to me.
Decided that I want £50k/year and won't accept less. Quite liberating.
Job hunting has not gone well so far.
Driving - I haven't driven for weeks. Our car just sits on the drive. Am thinking its a good thing for the environment, but not good to lose the skill.
The ability to grab someone and throw them forcefully to the ground before then attempting to choke, strangle, armlock or just sit on them!
Started Judo at age 6 and been doing it ever since. Shadow judo is weird and nowhere near as much fun.
Tolerance... had little to start with and most people are ****s including me.
