My shopping bag ripped apart with eggs strewn all over the place, so I need a new shopping bag.

What are people using?

Sorry to hear you dropped your shopping in public. 😉 🤣 🤣

Hmmm seems a good idea. Yep, should have been clear that I have to look cool, especially after today's debacle.

Must have been eggstremely embarrassing for you.

I have a Vans drawstring bag for shopping for the week's supplies while at work. It is black, says "Vans Off the Wall" on it. It is really cool, especially as I am a 50 year old white male. I feel the envy of the town in which I work. People's heads turn as I walk down the isle holding my Vans bag. So usually scrunch it up and half stick it in a pocket of my stretch denim jeans.

I use the intersport bags that you get to carry your ski boots back to the chalet. They're excellent for coping with the 6 bottle wine offer in my local waitrose (apologies)

I also have a lezyne freebie musette/rucksack thing for longer days on the bike. Excellent for picking up fresh asparagus this month

Whatever first comes to hand from the big plastic bag I keep all the other shopping bags in. I have Tesco, B&M, Wilco’s, plus some little drawstring nylon bags that fold inside themselves to about the size of an orange - dead handy those are. Just so long as they don’t split and spill all my shopping all over the place.

I’ve got a particularly large heavy-duty B&M bag, but it carries so much stuff it’s difficult to carry and drags on the ground!

“Shopping bag”? Doesn’t one have one’s shopping delivered?

”b&m” <heads over to the ‘disproportionately cross’ thread”

My partner tells me that Hoppa shopping trolley are indeed making a comeback for the young and trendy, after I mentioned a young couple dragging one around.. being older we would still just look like you gran/grandad

I make my own (it's easy if you have a sewing machine). Good quality hard wearing fabric (which is easy to wash after a few shopping trips).

If on the bike I take 2 fabric bags (upholstery weight fabric, canvas, linen etc) and pop them into the panniers.

As others have said, the pull along shopping trolly type thing is having a revival.

I use a Unicorn organic grocery bag, hand-woven by goarherders in Tibet from ethical, fair-trade hemp.

I don’t even have to carry it as it levitates above a cloud of righteousness

We've got a https://www.andersen-shopper.de/en/ trolley (but they seem hard to find in the UK now.  Also a Freitag shopping bag that some Swiss visitors brought us as a present about 20 years ago.  Does seem indestructible. https://freitag.ch/en_GB/products/f250-sonny?v=000004197658

How can anyone suggest that the forum is dying when we have vibrant threads about shopping bags and trolleys?
