So I can keep up with the little one, and encourage her, in the park and so on?

or

or another?
I don't want http://www.swiftyscooters.com/ - it needs to look like hers and that's too expensive anyway.
(and, if I'm honest, because they look bloody good fun and I'm quite envious of the kids blasting around the park!)
grown men on scooters is wrong.
put some trainers on and run beside her. Take a bike (even a bmx).
saw a Dad riding a scotter with his kids a few weeks back my daughter and her freinds all said 'I hope my Dad never does that'...
funny, that's exactly what I expected the first response to say
what BMX to further embarrass my daughter once I've maxxed out the scooter-generated embarrassment?
funny, that's exactly what I expected the first response to say
because you knew it for the truth 😉
24" cruiser 🙂
Nah I've got loads of bikes, don't need any more. (They do look fun tho, you mean like this: http://www.winstanleysbmx.com/product/56841/Haro_124_24Inch_2013_BMX_Bike ?).
that's the sort of thing. Don't look like you're riding a kids bike but still fun at the skate park when your daughter's on the scooter 🙂
don't need any more
n+1, surely?
I have one of these for the same reason.

I have loads of people saying you can't have a scooter at your age, but I don't see whats so different to riding bikes with the kids or scooting. Great fun in the local park with them. Also do the school run on them sometimes.
You've planted a seed for the future there for sure, tho I don't get the logic that a dad on a BMX is any less naff than a dad on a scooter.
I think it may be a scooter for now, when she's old enough to get embarrassed by that I'll look at a bike.
Anyway, being embarrassed of dad is every little girl's right I think, it's formative.
Been thinking about this for a while, as 29ers>>>>>26ers 8) - go big wheels I reckon.

I'm with you on the big wheels.
Act your age ------------------ get a skateboard.
Already got one.
I see a few people commuting to work on micro-scooters.
at least you won't be as embarrassing as them.
I say go for it - can't wait until my kid's old enough to be taken to the park for Daddy to show him some mad skilz.
