I'd like a super low gear option on my cx bike for the 3Peaks next year. I've got a new 11-36 casette.
My 9sp X9 didn't work, thought it would.
Any ideas?

AFAIK, 10 speed shifters use a different cable pull ratio, so you'll need a sram 10 speed rear mech.

Miller used an 11-36 cassette in the giro before last and had a mid cage xo rear mech; imagine any Sram 10 speed rear mech that would go up to 36 on the back would work. But must admit, i thought you should have been fine with the x9.

Maybe there was a problem with the 9speed x9. I'll try another from ebay.
