I wanted one that hooks over the doorframe i.e. doesn't need to be screwed into the frame but my wife thinks it (I) will pull the frame off the wall - anyone had issues with that?

I weigh around 14.5 stone (more at Christmas).

pro power chin up bar from argos.

three positions for hands (wide,middle,narrow) also use it for tricep dips (average at best) and can be used for a sit up bar (never tried)

its not pulled the door apart yet. (11st) also being successfully used by a friend of mine who is now 14st down from 16st recently.

major downside is that you obviously need to pick your knees up.
