A colleague is selling the 2Gb version of the 1st Gen Intel Macbook. He wants 400 for it, but given the age and the fact it needs a new battery, I'm suggesting 200. Anyone got any opinions about it?

Tell him to put it on eBay, they all seem to go for stupid money on there!

He's right. I looked at buying second hand, but ended up buying new as it wasn't that much more when compared to the resale value of ordinary laptops.

Well I'd pay £300 for it all in, but a new Apple battery is going to be around £100 so that's how I'm arriving at the £200.
