and where to get it? Want something fairly sizeable... have a total area of about 7m x 7m where it could go. Don't really want a proper greenhouse as I don't see the point, plus we might want to move it at some stage. Everyone on the allotments I walk past has a tunnel rather than a greenhouse!
What part of the country are you? I have three polytunnel frames in-situ in Somerset. Happy to give away a section but you would need to buy the poly skin to clad it.
A heavy one. Friend of ours just had one leap up in the air and twist and tear itself into few hundred quid’s worth of wind-wreckage. The first time it got repaired. The second time (a week later) it was beyond repair.
*Edit - Dancover. That was the one. Well, one of theirs. tbf it was the most inexpensive one they do, and the earth was wet so the stakes/anchors were useless.

ha! It'll probably go on some unused decking, so we can screw it down. I'm aware that they'll probably be an issue with this accelerating deterioration of the decking, but we're not using it anyway, and at least with a tunnel rather than a proper greenhouse we should be able to move it fairly easily.A heavy one.

Dig a trench around the poly tunnel frame. Pull the polyskin taught into the trench and backfill with earth. self weight of the earth stops any uplift

They were just gutted tbh. I helped clean up the wreckage and wasn’y impressed with bracing, cover-fit, velcro loops or pole-gauge. But ... £2-300 ... get what you pay for?
* edit - They dug it in, but not a trench and backfill, just a spade depth slot and poke-down, tread earth back/compress. if that makes sense. Don’t know how much material/skirt there was to bury tbh. I imagine that would be a useful factor ie longer = better.
