You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
We had a scare/wake up call earlier in the year with our 10 year old when a 9 yo kid from around the corner logged into pornhub on our kids tablet during a sleepover.
Now we've addressed this I think (porn is to sex what top gear is to everyday driving etc) and the kid is on board, but the missus doesn't want a repeat and doesn't want a chance of our younger kids having a similar experience.
Is there something you can recommend where I can block the more adult side of the web on tablets (and maybe phones later on), I've no intention of logging and I expect it to be by-passed later on.
Just wait for all the experts coming on board with statements about the answer being parenting not tech....
IPad or Android? If iPad the apples own parental stuff is good.
Good a start as any,

Your service provider might provide content blocking services also.
The quickest way is to configure the DNS to something like opendns, preconfigured for this use: https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/#familyshield
They’ll learn how to change this in time, but you can also stop them doing it by device management too.
^ beaten to it 😉
It’s why my kids beat me on Fortnite. Just too slow a trigger finger.
I used this on my daughters devices, seemed to do the trick not that she really went looking she was happy to have something to stop her seeing things she didn't need to

Probably less of an issue at that age, but anything on a device can be bypassed. You need control further up the food chain.
