Want to buy a decent one for summer - preferably lightweight and fast. Budget is 300-600 quid. If it can get some gear/bike on the front then all the better. So far I've been looking at Longshore Packrafts and Anfibio (DELTA MX in particular). I already have a folding/inflatable by Advanced Elements, which is awesome, but it weights almost 20kg. That said, something that tracks well is important, so don't mind paying extra for that. Any ideas/experiences?

At that budget you might want to look second hand?

Can you find the extra 100 for the Longshore CR250?

Other than that, probably used. I picked up an Ex Demo Alpacka Caribou from Backcountry Scot but you might have a lengthy wait for the end of season.

Not sure if he posts on here but JohnClimber on the Bearbones forums does a lot of packrafting so might be worth asking him.

I've done a taster weekend so definite 1/100 on the amount of experience scale but it was obvious that seemingly similar boats handled very differently. Fast is a relative term, even a light breeze or current can make progress very frustrating.
