Nice one surfer. What race was that? I think from your posts on that daft hrm thread you are a bit faster than me!

I was looking forward to Tigger Tor fell race near Sheffield at the end of this month (got 10th place last year), but my shin doesn't want to play 🙁 .

Cloud 9 in Congleton, not a "proper" fell race but only "off road" photo I can find.
If you can stay in front of Janet McIver you are doing well indeed!!

Good luck with the shin, plenty of ice and massage.

Powerkiting with a buggy, snowboarding, take spells at swimming, biggest problem is getting the time and weather! Has resulted in a garage full of toys!

Mountain Biking
Photgraphy

I went snowboarding last yr, but can't really call that a hobby although if I lived in Austria it would be.

Don't really have much time for anything else.

How TF does anyone have time for all these hobbies?

Even now, in this credit crunch/recession era, when my workload is massivley lower than it used to be, can I only manage to ride my bike. And even then not as much as I would like.

OMITN (used to have hobbies before he got a full time job)

Cricket is the main on, play at an ok standrd for most of the summer and spend the winter annoying my neighbours knocking new bats in.

Other than that,
Skiing, usually for 3 weeks a year, will be less this year
Football once a week on a Sunday morning
Walking in the hills, though not sure this counts as a hobby
PlayStation for when i really can't be bothered to move anywhere.

Knocked rugby on the head before I got any major injuries. Used to snowboard a lot (few seasons in the Swiss Alps) but going for 1 week a year just doesn't appeal anymore.

Nowadays, it's surfing, bodyboarding and road cycling. Thinking of joining the local surf life-saving club for some paddleboard racing this Spring.

Creg, whereabouts do you surf? Interesting to see you're a sponger too.
