Got loads of photos scattered around various hard disks, and would quite like to upload them somewhere where a) they're safe and b) I can share them with friends+family. Any recommendations? Dropbox's new service? Flikr? Picasa?
I'm a long-term flickr user and I pay the little extra to use the Pro version. It is very good and very flexible regarding permissions etc.
However, I'm also attracted to Picasa....
I use flickr and photobucket, flickr is less stress really.
Cheers, will check out pricing on both Picasa and Flickr...
flickr for me
flickr FTW. pro here as well.
Picasa works best for me
nealy - if you don't mind, can you tell me why you prefer Picasa over Flickr? As I said above, I'm considering my options. I'd be particularly interested in how one might interface it with an Android device.
Picasa has autoupload from Android (if you switch it on), not sure about Flickr.
Flickr has autoupload too, That's what I used when I needed to upload 100s each weekend. http://www.flickr.com/tools/.
Flickr Pro was fine and cheap.
The only problem with the bulk uploader was that it would start at the first picture again after internet outage. Have you got a reliable internet?
