307 has started making an angry beeping when I start it (but no error messages). Internet suggests it might be the battery on the way out but have ordered a bluetooth ODB unit and will get Torque as a quick fix. I
f this doesn't cut it then what's good? Peugeot Planet is probably out of budget...

If it's a diesel & post 2004 (I think) then most OBD2 code readers should work. Mine's a 2002 so I ended up with a cheap chinese PP clone off ebay. It was a faff to set up but it does work well now.
I think petrols were OBD2 standardised in 2001, but I could be wrong...

Thanks, it's 2006, so ODBII. I used to have Vag Com which was useful. Will have a look @ Ebay but my experience of Skoda was they were a bit hit and miss!
