I’m looking for a 10 to 12oz mug that fits in a car cup holder (VW T6 if that makes any difference) and can be used with an aeropress.
looked at the Yeti 10oz which is nice, but too narrow for the aeropress.
I’m guessing someone on here has solved this riddle!

Aero press go works with a 12oz yeti. Not sure if it has the same size opening as the 10oz

Keep Cup. I use a 10oz which I can aeropress in to and sits in the T6 dash top cup holder. SWMBO uses a taller one, which also fits.

This is to be used with an aeropress go. Not sure if they are a different size or not from the regular one. Does your 12oz fit in a cup holder? Do you have a link? The Yeti website is annoying at times

The 12oz doesn’t fit in the middle cup holder in my Skoda, but fits in the door bottle holder perfect. Have it with a hot shot lid so it’s pretty good for travelling.

can’t find it on the yeti site but it’s this one

hopefully the link works, this forum is not very usable anymore

Maybe it only came with older aeropresses but I had a funnel thing in the box for mine to work with smaller mugs:

I always wondered what that was for. I use it to fill the basket of my espresso machine without spilling coffee all over the kitchen.

This works for me cafetiere and thermal mug in one. Only downside is it keeps the drink a bit too hot to take more than a sip at a time.

I've got the yeti that's like a normal big mug (not sure if the actual size.) it's great for aeropress, just the right size.... But it doesn't fit in the cup holder on the dash of a t6.1. the wife has the big tall yeti, which does fit in the cup holder, bit imo it's unnecessarily big! You're either half filling it, or you need to make a big batch brew to fill it

No way is that what that bit’s for?! 😂 I always thought it was a (rather unnecessary) funnel for getting the coffee into the Aeropress.

All three of our Keep Cups leaked including the 2 replacement lids they sent me 😞

I've a Circular and Co which is now available in many versions but most importantly is narrow like a drinks can at the bottom to fit even the smallest cupholders and wide enough for Aeropress at the top.

They even did a blog post on comparability which saved me finding all the bits to confirm I hadn't imagined it.

That funnel thing is for filling the aeropress without making a mess.

Those circular and co ones look great and are currently a cracking price!

In a bizarre twist, the campsite farmshop have a huge range of yeti cups, so we have been able to test them against our requirements.
We’ve ended up with the larger 16oz rambler. Bigger than needed, but works well with the aeropress, short enough to fit in the camping boxes and fits the cup holder! The 12oz straight mug didn’t fit the cup holder and was quite snug on the aeropress.

Interesting I have a T6 (it’s an old one) Do I need to get myself an Aeropress? I have a crappy cartridge coffee machine at home so could it replace that and give me a coffee on the go option?

You can also use it under the AeroPress Original to guide the pressed coffee into a small mouthed vessel, like an espresso cup or an insulated travel flask

Beat me to it OP, was going to say the 16oz Yeti "stackable cups" work in T6.1 slightly problematic cupholders.

However, they have changed them recently, they are now slightly squatter and hence not quite as secure in the cupholder as the old 16oz (that was actually 19oz) "Pint" was damn near perfect fit. https://uk.yeti.com/products/rambler-16-pint-cup-thfc-white?_pos=1&_sid=35895b31f&_ss=r

Not tested the new 20oz stackable cup but it looks almost identical to the "Pint" so should be fine.  https://uk.yeti.com/collections/tumblers/products/rambler-20-stackable-cup-beekeeper

I haven't tried the 20oz Travel Mug either but it looks like it might be too tall above the taper.  https://uk.yeti.com/products/rambler-20-travel-mug-firefly-yellow.
