There's a small playground not far, perhaps 100 yards, from my apartment in Cranberry Towers. In the playground is a swing that is lacking in lubrication, and when kids play on it it sounds like an old, arthritic couple engaging in slow and gentle but persistent love making..

... and so on. I'm working from home tomorrow, and don't want to listen to the poor, tortured swing for hours on end as it grinds away with a lack of proper lubrication - what lubrication should I apply to it to get everything, ahem, swinging nicely ?

Well that thread title promised far more than it delivered. 🙂

Spray grease will sort it out, the automotive type will do. They are usually fitted with a brass/bronze bush in the top swivel.

Cucumber..... If the 'article' doing the rounds on Facebook extolling the many wondrous properties of cucumber including its use as a lubricant is to be trusted!
