You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
After what's happened here over the last few days?
You need to start with a solid defence and you won't win anything with kids.
how to start lots of threads on the same topic?
We are not that good at football except for Wales?
That democracy still has a fair bit of evolution to go through before it's perfect.
That the only politician in the entire country that seems to have a clue what they're supposed to be doing is a wee lassie fae Ayrshire.
They should turn the forum off for 16 hours out of the day.
We have gone through some bandwidth 🙂
It's true: half the population really *are* below average intelligence.
Politicians must be held legally responsible for telling porky-pies.
if you don't invest in deprived areas then it opens the door for ignorance, xenephobia and political opportunism.
There have been lessons beforehand, mind.Just have might have, sort of, forgotten this
Referendums are not a good idea.
Also don't ask questions you don't like the answer to.
Timing is everything
Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it
That even the most important vote you may ever be asked to cast can be influenced by they who shout their lies the loudest.
#Greatbritain #takingourcountryback etc.
Never trust agencies of an outcome.
Most people love a what if !
Democracy only works if people are well informed
Democracy is a very fragile thing, even in countries that have a long established tradition there will be loud shouts to ignore it when it doesn't produce the "correct" result.
Politicians are economical with the facts.
If you have a functioning parliamentary democracy no matter how imperfect you should use it and not resort to plebiscite where by definition 50% of the decision makers are of below average intelligence. If you do insist on a referendum that will massively effect the entire population then the threshold for change should be at least 50 % of the electorate not just those who vote.
Beware of unintended consequences...
If governments don't engage with their people and simply dismiss half of them as thick and un-intelligent then eventually it will come back and bite you. This is not a British disease. It's rife through the US and Europe. Apparently if France were to have an EU referendum today then 68% of the population would likely vote out. Same root causes, its just us that have blinked first.
Never let a country which wanted to call a research ship "Boaty McBoatface" vote on anything important.
Politicians must be held legally responsible for telling porky-pies.
This ^^^^^
As mentioned above, most of these lessons have been given previously . . .
#slowlearners
Wobbliscott: sure you haven't got your facts wrong/ or incorrectly translated an article from French? Last thing I read on the french feeling towards the EU was about 100% in the other direction.
Be careful what you wish for...
Don't let a bunch of small minded racist retards decide your economic future?
A pie should have a pastry case and lid

"Don't come here, you're not welcome".
This is NOT my view, but the strong impression we must now be giving to just about everyone.
Stick to Dictatorships.
Don't come to Britain. You're not welcome. Because we're a bunch of xenophobic, racist bigoted arseholes.
Because we're a bunch of xenophobic, racist bigoted arseholes.
well 52% of us are....
Don't hold a referendum until you have a plan for BOTH outcomes.
Don't hold a referendum until you have a plan for BOTH outcomes.
To be fair, they did say the consequences would be very severe, so this is going exactly to plan: Tell the markets to 'do your worst, we don't care' and then stand back looking smug.
That Xenophobia exists.
Democracy lives...well kind of.
Mugsys, not sure if it is a fact or scaremongering but it came from a French journalist/commentator on CNN was saying as justification of Hollande being in such a hurry to get this over and done with (and make an example of us) before the French elections for fear of Le Pen gaining and forcing a French referendum. Having said that who really know's. The only thing we do know is that you can't trust the Poll's.
The only thing we do know is that you can't trust the Poll's.
Or Farrage or Gove, or Boris, or IDS...
It's a very long list!
The only thing we do know is that you can't trust the Poll's.
See, more xenophobia.
well 52% of us are....
But in this case where a simple majority applies, it means we all are.
