Any advice appreciated.
Looking for a laptop for the wife, about £450 budget.
Only used for home stuff, but needs to be fairly quick as she,s sick of old one taking to much time to fire up and access the internet.
Ive lost touch with processors but have noticed the i3's and others in my price range are around 2.2 meg which is the same as my old overclocked pc.
Had a quick look in Currys and online but theres just to much choice.
What have you got?

Does the 512mb dedicated memory mean its taken from the main memory?

Got a lovely 17.5" HP Pavilion Entertainment 'PC' (erm, but it's a laptop) a few months back with a load of cash off RRP for around £500 from Curry's.

Can't compare it to owt else, but from personal experience it's blummin quick, works well and looks nice to boot. Just lacks Blu-ray in comparison to some other models about at the mo, but as I have a dedicated player, that isn't a concern to me.

The Lenovo looks nice, but seems to have a poor battery life according to the reviews.

Check out Lenovo's website.

They had better deals than the Ebuyer one on last week.
