cynic-al - there's plenty of us having a rubbish time but the important thing is to actually be comfortable with yourself. We're not in a perfect world, not even the 'big hitters' are but do not judge yourself too harshly.

I think it is vital to genuinely believe that internet forums are in some way important, and that winning an argument on one will actually affect the course of history.

My very first day here was to post a thread that was deleted so quickly I thought I'd imagined doing so. I was already halfway through dialling a psychotherapist when my email pinged informing me my thread had been 'done' a month earlier, was distasteful and stuff like that wasn't welcome here.

I don't consider myself a hitter of any sort so your assessment process may be slightly flawed...
