Just had a juice bar open near our shop.
Really like them but its costing a fortune so would like to go DIY.
Reccomendations please.
Not cheap for a decent one, this handles raw beetroots, about £150.

I much prefer a mangle/cold press/masticator type.
Downside is usually initial expense and clean-up time.
Alternatively you could blend (and drink instantly) instead and have smoothies. It's what I used to do in work. Bananas, apple, frozen rasberries and maybe hemp powder if you're so inclined.

great design & works well. its a machine. actually.
Mrs kilo has a green star juicer, bloody expensive but gets a serious amount of juice out of the fruit and veg, you could probably dispose of a body with it.
I've just gone for a Sage nutri Juicer plus that arrives tomorrow.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Any of the Philips ones, the juice master himself recommends them! Check out Jason Vale at www.juicemaster.com

+1 for the greenstar here

website doesnt look like it's been updated since 1996, and for that reason I'm out.
The Sage machines are very good off the money, entry one is £135 which should be good enough I'd think, the larger one is £200.
