Is Nilfisk still the go to? If so which one?  Needs to have enough oomph to clean the patio and not die after a few years like the yellow one has.

Patio cleaning is a seriously boring job, but if it can be done with a bit of regularity then any jetwash will do as it doesn't need to shift more engrained dirt and growths.

I always think when I'm doing it that I'll start doing it every 6 weeks and I never do and I always end up skating about before I finally remember to get it done again!

Sorry, absolutely no help, but it has triggered me and I've had to vent...thanks for the opportunity!

Our K4 seems to have lasted pretty well. I've upgraded the hose outlet elbow for a steel one as the plastic one didn't hold the hose very well and it would pop off.

If you can afford the £££ then a Kranzle (with umlouts over the A !!)  is the right answer.  It's like buying Hope or even Chris King - fully serviceable and all parts available.

Made in Germany using metal where metal should be, not plastic moldings from China where metal should be.

It's like a howitzer compared to my previous pea-shooter of a Karcher.

Wasn't overly impressed by my little Nilfisk, so when it died I've just replaced  it with a K4 from the Karcher Outlet.

Yes, with the patio and snowfoam attachments it was £200, but it's been a game changer - the patio is cleaner than it's been in years, the snow foam looks like a detailers YouTube shoot.

The Kärcher ones from Toolstation and B&Q etc seem to be the ones a lot of people use, I was looking at one my neighbour over the road was using recently, it comes with a thing like an upside down bowl for cleaning patios.

Titian ones work well from screwfix.

Mine is a Halfords own brand which was about £40 over 5 years ago. I thought I'd get a decent one when it broke down but it's still fully functional.

Nowt wrong with Nilfisk, just buy the one you like the look of (make wise), & buy a patio cleaner head to make it easy.

TBH I think it's how you store them over winter, that has the most affect, letting them freeze with water inside will probably kill any manufacturers device.

I've got that one. it's decent enough, more powerful than an equivalent nilfisk and has continued to work for the last few years despite being kept in a damp draughty garden shitshed through a few winters.

Basic low spec Karcher from 15 years ago. Still runs fine and used about twice a year. I had to take it apart as I shut the cable in a door and had to rewire it with a replacement flex (water + electricity = take no chances). Waterproofing is first rate of course.
