Second the quay for bike/kayak hire (Saddles & Paddles). The Prospect Inn is one of the better pubs on the quay. Or cycle/ paddle along to the Double Locks pub which is also good.
Depends on when you'll be there as to what's going on. What are you into, apart from climbing and biking?

Kayaking may be a no go since I can't swim! Trailseeker's walk looks like a pretty good idea, I guess I'm just after anything that's not sitting in a pub watching rugby... Not really my thing! Fresh air on the other hand, is good 😀

Took us about 3.5 hours to walk the full circuit without stopping much but we've done it at a gentle pace in 6 hours including a pint @ the New Inn - Alphington, Double locks on the canal, The railwayman in Pinhoe road & the Mill on the Exe, which are all on the route except the Double locks (signposted half mile flat detour)
