Does anyone know of good forum with mainly British sailors interested in deep sea yachting and long distance sailing? Not looking for a dinghy forum.

Sailing Anarchy used to be the place I went too, not been there in a couple of years but its still going.
No real STW equivalent, Y&Y dinghy forums about as close as you'll get, Yachties tend to be a bit more... Erm.. Reserved.

There are several forums - each loosely tied to one of their magazines, so a "practical" forum for those who wish to fix rather than sail! a motor boats one etc... Yachting Monthly - for "cruising" etc...
It also has a lounge where opinionated people will get overly upset at people they have never met before etc.
In fact the only think differentiating it from here is they switched to decent forum software a few years ago.
