Well how I do it is...
Practice and a Foam Pit? Failing that - wires and photoshop.
Good point fingerbike, I hope not though.
I've never tried a whip, because:
a) Lateral landings will snap bits.
b) There's no safe way to land unless you're good on a bike.
c)Failed whips-let alone upside backwards whatever ones- never end well.
I watched Danny Hart at Champery.
I woke up in A & E.
I think its a massive almost inverted whip.
I can kick the back end out a foot or so over small kickers and that makes me feel like a hero but that is just mental!
I have no fear limiter, but I have a cost limiter!
Biggest obstacle for me trying stuff is the risk assesment of "will it break the bike if i muck up"?
Can't buy a new wheel and I do enough hub & spoke damage on lateral landings as it is.
How you get a Session up there...dunno, ask Gwin? 🙂
Remember it's not exactly a normal jump he's doing it off, if you look at where the lip is in relation to the landing.
He's upping the game. You should see the kid in the bike park. Fu*king nuts.
I thought "flow" was this
Turns out it is...
Then Some.
In the first episode of Life behind bars it shows Semenuks garden/bikepark, very very cool.
If you've ever rode a quarter/half pipe you'll know this. Sorry to bubble burst but it's just a regular (big) air.
Semenuk is rad^sick! There's probably some a name for it but it looks to me like he's in the middle of a very table-topped (inverted?) 360?
I think he's taken off from the wooden ramp (booter?) on the right and is rotating anti-clockwise. He'll continue rotating, come out of the table-top and land on the back-side of the mount of dirt on the left of the shot, out of frame.
Admittedly Euro, i have absolutely no first hand experience of sending it.
Good though.
negative table-whip - looks like photographer missed the shot and semenuk is on the way down on the landing
