Imminent danger of cat-pritt stick collision I'd say. That's gonna hurt. 🙂

A huge and messy pile of paperwork and old bills that I really need to bin. No picture but try to imagine an explosion in a filing cabinet.

Dammit Stoner, I need a bacon and egg sandwich now, and some Pezz sweeties! Thinking about it, those Pez dispensers will make good stocking fillers, looking for some online now.

Far too much carp on my desk to list. The study is a mess in general as the house is 3/4 packed in prep for our house move in early Jan. I'm glad we're away over the Christmas break because the mess and the fact that half the stuff I need is packed away is doing my head in.

Apart from the usual essential work IT stuff (four monitors, three different types of base unit, mice etc) I have an empty teacup (soon to be refilled with tea), a winning wrapper for a free Twix, four PG Tips monkeys and a stripped apart bluetooth GPS unit that is forming the base of a project for a GPS-based dog tracking/mapping system.

Oh, and a bucketload of paperwork, a decoy pigeon and an R/C plane.

Normal desktop (is it still a desktop if it sits under the desk?) computer paraphernalia and a spare laptop.
LOTS of thoroughly important bits of paper strewn around in flimsily organised chaos.
Lots of pens (I keep losing them), two staplers, two paperpunches, several envelopes, two flash drives, empty CD cases, earphones, Post-It's, two stressballs, calculator, tripod, ruler, a plastic Morph, towel, deoderant, box of screwdrivers, two boxes of business cards, umpteen keys that we don't know what they're for but can't throw out in case we find out, zip-ties, incomplete set of playing cards, a bell from a Lindt chocolate Easter bunny, a birthday card, and a small rubber tree plant.
Cold cup of tea, bottle of water, half a box of cookies, and a pear.

Enter two of roper's colleagues stage left

1st Witch:
Thrice the brinded cat hath mew'd.

2nd Witch:
Thrice and once, the hedge-pig whin'd.

3rd Witch
Harpier cries:—'tis time! 'tis time!

1st Witch:
Round about the cauldron go:
In the poisoned entrails throw.
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights has thirty-one
Sweated venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first in the charmed pot.

All:
Double,double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

2nd Witch:
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blindworm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing.
For charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

All:
Double,double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and couldron bubble.

3rd Witch:
Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf,
Witch's mummy, maw and gulf
Of the ravin'd salt-sea shark,
Root of hemlock digg'd in the dark,
Liver of blaspheming Jew;
Gall of goat; and slips of yew
Sliver'd in the moon's eclipse;
Nose of Turk, and Tartar's lips;
Finger of birth-strangled babe
Ditch-deliver'd by a drab,-
Make the gruel thick and slab:
Add thereto a tiger's chaudron,
For ingredients of our cauldron.

All:
Double,double toil and trouble,
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

2nd Witch:
Cool it with a baboon's blood,
Then the charm is firm and good.
