A mate has an old 2006 primus gasol/propan (butane/propane) bottle, small 5lbs, but full. It has a female thread connect that measures pretty much 12mm ID. Is that a 907 campinggaz bottle. Just trying to work out what regulator is needed to connect to it.

You could email Primus customer support for help?

I have, no answer bar the automated response in 1.5 days. I'm in no rush though tbh, I just thought it would be easy for the hive mind.

It may be unique to Primus - there seems to be a market on ebay for 'vintage' primus cylinders.

ebay

The nearest Camping Gaz would probably be a 904, but it doesn't look to me like they're interchangeable.

Ahha! Thanks tillydog! That's it, it's the same (but smaller) as the VTG primus 2006 bottle up at $96. So 2096 is a type not a year.

Right, I'll tell my mate to stick it on fleabay.

Cheers
