Hi folks, ive been sorting all my digi photos today and come to the conclusion i need some software to help me, as ive got hundreds of folders and its a pain to find the photo i want. Ive managed to keep the folders named as the date taken but you cant easilly see whats in them all, so im screwed if i cant remember what date i took a photo.
Im using Flickr to host a lot on the web but need somthing similar for the PC (so no 'Apple would be better' suggestions thanks, as id get one if i had the money)
Any suggestions?
Ta,
Rich.
Picasa.
Try picasa if you have a Windows PC. Or an intel-mac.
Free from Google.

Windows Live Photo Gallery. Its free and has a direct link to upload to Flickr. Also has amazing photo-stitch abilities for your panoramic landscapes. I've got 120Gb of photos on my laptop, no problems.

picasa, and picasaweb is ten times more pleasant to use than flickr as a guest viewer.
