Please could someone tell me which format I need to download to read the e version of singletrack.

I usually use the "PDF High" version and read it in iBooks.
pdf would be readable in iBooks.
ePub would also be readable in iBooks
the kindle version should work with the kindle for Ipad app.
pageFlip requires flash so I'd imagine that would be a non starter.
Take your pick from any of the first three, personally I'd go for the universality of the high res pdf version.

Pretty much any .pdf file that you open on an iPad or phone will ask if you want to open in iBooks, which is really handy for things like online insurance documents, and camera user manuals.

UPDATE – JUNE 2011 – We have upgraded our online magazine viewing software from issue 66. This issue is viewable on iPads without having to download the PDF file. This feature is still under development so if you have any problems then please get in touch. You can still download the PDF files as normal.

I was going by the popup that appears over the pageflip download button (issue 75 specifically) that says it requires flash.
Looks like you could download and read any format then. Winner!
