Slippers now. Was wearing Burton smart black loafers in the office. Pair of old Animal skate shoes for the commute. Good winter trainers.

Edit: that's eight pairs - pretty much on a par with Imelda Marcos.

grenson sharp boots everyday
grenson fred boots everyday winter
greenson stanley brogues everyday summer
grenson finn,smart worn with suit
trickers brogues, for best (non suit)
walsh trainers, 'smart' leather/suede ones
merell boots scruffy
Adidas brown/classic style trainers
couple pairs of karrimor walking boots
shimano spd autumn
shimano spd summer
shimano spd winter boots
adidas spd shoes
sidi carbon road shoes
shimano carbon road shoes

left off a few that i don't wear much, i still wouldn't call that a lot of shoes.
should always rotate your shoes and not wear the same pair every day. 🙂

This one the whole day ... got them from TK Maxx for £60. My "winter" boots ...

Keen Pyrenees Boot.

[img] [/img]

The verdict ... crap! Do NOT buy them. Really. You have been warned.

No traction whatsoever when the ground is a bit wet and warm as hell that makes your feet sweat.

However, very comfortable for 1 or 2 hours wear but longer than that you will be torturing your feet.

Leather quality seem good and I suppose they are meant for dry weather but then your feet get hot ...

I wear them in town and I intend to use them as work boots ... until I destroy them.

😡

My Adidas Super Trekking, best footwear I've ever owned, absolutely love them. Also had a pair when I was 13.

Barker Longworth Brogue

Welted goodyear rubber sole

Superb shoe, not cheap, but for traipsing to the station then to the office I can't think of anything better

I'm just glad i've never had the sort of job where i have to wear brogues or proper shoes, in fact i've not owned shoes since leaving school 24 years ago, trainers or rigger boots have done me just fine for the past 20odd years.

Most definitly the best pair of boots i've used, be warned they are for hot weather, but a pair of goretex socks will solve that problem in winter - let it in easy, get it out fast! So much better than DMS boots, Magnum dessies (like slippers but shred easily), Meindel's (poor ankle support and also cut your feet up - also dreadful with sweat).. though if anyone wants a pair of Miendels or Magnums, i've got some in the loft?

I've a pair of the bike OCG boots that I wear for work and when out for proper walk in the hills..... Some of the comfiest shoes I've had and plenty warm enough with a descent pair of socks. Saying that it was 0'c this morning and I was outside in sorts and t-shirt...

Otherwise Nike Mogans are my choice of slum footwear... Both on and off the bike.

Clarks Desert Boots, original and best.

These ones are black suede, but I also have wolf (taupe) suede and cola (medium brown) suede in the rotation.
