Black leather New Balance trainers.

Smart, yet casual.
For Burnley anyway.

About to change into some retrotastic Mizunos.

Pointer suede chukka boot thingies.

Casual, yet smart. It's dress-down Tuesday at my desk, all welcome.

edit: have just discovered Pointer's slogan is 'courting comfort while flirting with style' - that's me all over. 😀

Specialized trainer-type SPDs, can't remember the name.
Usually I change into some Salomon Exits I keep under my desk when I get to work but didn't get round to it today.
And about to put my knackered old running shoes on.

Over the past few years, I've carefully gauged, taken onboard, and inwardly digested my colleagues considered opinion of me, and I now dress accordingly....

They do my head in. Gave me blisters, somehow are really unstable (I start to lean if I stand on one leg). Look crap. Chavvy. Not really smart enough for work. I don't like them.

They were cheap though.

With the way the local area is right now, I'm glad I decided to keep my fully goretex lined Merrels boots on. Normal office attire would be non-gtx Moab ventilators or brogues, but today, those feet needed to be dry.

Not pink? Why not go the whole hog?

The wearing of Crocs should be a criminal offense IMHO. Unless you're under 12. In which case, a partial pardon, with a warning about future behavior, would be in order 😆

Some odd zamberlan suade shoes that have massive cut outs/vents so they are a bit sandal like at the front.

For the last week or so I've been wearing my pair of ex-German leather army boots. Perfect for the crappy winter weather we're having, beautifully comfortable to wear all day, best work boots I've ever had, as I'm on my feet most of the day. I wear Meindle Desert Fox British Army boots when it's warmer and drier; just as comfy, but leak like a sieve!
