We've gone mad and booked a holiday to florida next year - can anyone recommend a good value ticket to see the broadest range of places. Travel agent wanted to sell us one that covered everything but came out at £1,300 for three of us - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggh!
Never been before, will probably never go again, so want to get as much as possible done.
Recommendations, a few abusive posts, and pointers to useful websites appreciated
we've been looking at these all in one tickets...you can get different ones for varying prices...like £250ish for 2 week pass to disney
or about the same price for 4 passes to different resorts I think

Mousesavers.com has good info. Best deal on Disney tickets we found were at the booths at the park gates (actually used to be 5% off at Kissimmee WalMart booth) is to buy a 10 day base ticket with Water Park and More option, $333 or £205. We have been basing our trips on Disney as Universal has too many big rides our kids weren't big or brave enough for yet. Given how vast the parks are we never felt the need to visit two in a day, so no need for the Park Hopper option which adds a bit of cost. Tickets sold over here aren't such good value.
Just looked at Universal tickets, $174.99 or £108 for a Seven day(out of 14), both parks ticket, bought at the gate. Add that to the above Disney and still much cheaper than your £1300!

Might be worth checking with the people/company you've booked with. Allot of them will offer deals and discounts if you buy the tickets from them.
I'm going back 5 years but we brought a 2 week Disney pass and a 2 week Universal pass for a total of about 250 quid. The only other place we had to pay to get into was Kennedy Space Centre.
We're lookiing to go next year and so far for 1300 quid we'd be buying the above and going to Discovery Cove for the day which includes a swim with a Dolphin and should still have change left over. You should find cheaper options 🙂

I would buy your Disney tickets in this country, I think they are around £220 for 14 days, which is better value than the 10 day base ticket above. If you have a young child or want the flexibility, the UK ticket offers park hopping, so you can visit as many disney parks in one day as you want.
You only pay one car parking charge per day regardless of how many disney parks you go to.
We have used this site before, I would recomend these tickets, they are similar to the one ticket but dont have Busch gardens or Seaworld. I would only go to Seaworld for one day so the extra cost is not worth it. Busch is supposed to be good but is quite a way out and you will have loads to do for 2 weeks.
Would not worry about Wet and Wild or Aqautica water parks either, the two Disney water parks are superb.
