Can be anything really, i.e. something due for release soon, something that came out 50 yrs ago, something you saw in your teens and want to watch again, blah blah.

I've a load on my list so here's a handful:

- In the Name of the Father
- My left Foot
- The Motorcycle DIaries (mainly cos Che was brilliant)
- When the Wind Blows
- Threads (watched it as a kid and it freaked the sh1t outta me!)
- Smiley's People
- Harry's Game
- Brideshead Revisited
- Chinatown

Over to you ...

Brideshead Revisited

I assume you mean the original Granada TV Series rather than the recent film?

Yep. Bored me senseless as a kid (I think my mum must have watched it) but somehow it piques my interest now.

John Boormans Excalibur

I think the only two scenes I remember from that are the Cheri Lunghi "bit" and the final scrap. Good film back in the day.

Avoid Life of Pi like the plague, I just wanted the tiger to eat him so I could go home, which is odd, because I enjoyed the book.

I watch a lot of films so my short list is basically stuff i cant get hold of:

Wind - Francis Ford Coppola produced movie about America's cup racing.

Until the end of the World - Wim Wenders sci-fi weirdness, took years to film, died a death as it was 3 hours plus in the cinema (Wenders wanted the edit to be longer)

I thought the two hour first episode was the best bit of it - did get a bit dull after that.

got tickets booked for "Django Unchained" on Friday eve

I was a huge Tarantino fan in the nineties, but since Jackie Brown there is no doubt quality has suffered

Kill Bill was OK ish (bit would have been better as 1 film)
Death Proof was a misfire
Inglorious Basterds was an improvement - with some amazing scenes, but patchy

I'm feeling optimistic about Django. Fingers crossed

I'm also keen to see Zero Dark Thirty

The Sweeney film, the original one, was on last night.

Was ace. One scene nicked from North By Northwest that I'd not noticed before. It was Jack's Escort, not Laura's Mercedes, but the principle was the same. 😀

Hell yeah!

Seems Mad Maddest of Madder of a plot but should be a huge laugh.

What about the sex scene where uther is still wearing his metal armour whilst getting amorous with a slip of a girl. My ex always wondered where I got my deviant tendencies from (plus she kept complaining she'd be cold when I told her of my desire to re-enact this childhood sex pest fantasy)
