regretting this mornings stupidly cold, wet, windy road ride, I spent the afternoon drinking hot ribena and sitting by the fire!

I went out on my bike including a trip over to Arthurs seat and then fed the birds.

Lucky I took an extra top and extra pair of gloves it was freezing!

Still better out and about than stuck indoors all day, looks like it's going to be another wild year for weather!

Made the worst chicken soup, ended up binning it. Made risotto. Lost some auctions for campagnolo stuff on ebay. Listed some tat on ebay. Went up to Mam Tor but chickened out of going for a walk in the horizontal rain. Watched some porn. Watched Requiem for a Dream.

Had a blazing row with Tesco online.
Tied back a rampaging Pyrocantha that was excited by the weather.
Went for a long, wet, muddy ride.
Cooked and ate tea.
Now waiting to see if Tesco are as good as their word.

We went to town this morning, looked in vain for some kids' clothes, and I bought a mouse for my work laptop. I couldn't decide if I wanted wired or wireless, but I went bluetooth in the end. No extra widget required, but I'm a little concerned I'll leave it behind somewhere.

Then I spent the afternoon continuing to fix the caravan. The seat is back in place fully now after removing it to fix the floor, the door is also now fixed mostly too. Just have to fix the wall at the back now and we'll be sorted.

Fry up this morning, played with my kids, prepared dinner (chicken fried rice), nipped out to see a venue for the kids birthday party (at this point I realised just how wet and cold it was), put some pictures up, tried to stop the wind blowing rain under the door, cooked dinner, kids to bed, crap tv, wine.
