Mine is terrible! I'm looking for a relatively cheap but comfortable chair to work on/in. I am very tall if that is a determining factor.
Thanks!
Unfortunately you can't buy a cheap chair that is any good, is properly designed, will last a long time, is comfortable etc.
Also, your chair affects your health if it is not fit for purpose, so seeing as you are spending possibly half your waking life in it.....spend decent money. At least £150, but ideally £250 plus.
Finally get a UK manufactured one, not an import.
Standard answer: Herman Miller Aeron. S/h off Fleabay @ half price.
I bought one from IKEA, it was excellent and I assume designed well because it was very comfortable and lasted a good few years of heavy use.
Ikea chairs are okay.
thanks everyone!
Try looking for a Giroflex highback on ebay.
Very adjustable and comfy.
Not cheap, but if you're planning on spending a lot of time in/on it it will be worth it
