For Mario kart and all that gubbins. Will be used as a substitute for parenting and to supplement his diet of sherbert dip dabs
Go!
Edit: not a portable type so he'll find it harder to pawn for miaow miaow
Mini SNES and a life time supply of Mountain Dew and Cheetos
Nintendo wii or switch
I’d go for a basic PS4 or XBoxOne S with two controllers, so that you can play together. Great value for money at the moment. Huge back catalogues of 2nd hand games.
Switch... anything else is wrong... just buy one..
thanks
It'll can only end in Fortnight addiction :/
RC buggy
My boy got a secondhand xbox360. Loves it and it was pretty much free. Only allowed to play on it at weekends which he seems happy enough with it.
The correct answer is ....whichever one his friends already have
Raspberry Pi.
Fresh air and playing outside.
If he wants to play Mario kart then anything other than a Nintendo is a dumb suggestion. Get him a Wii u if portability is a no no.
Yep second hand Wii of some description will do the job if it's for Mario kart.
A bike.
You've got about 5 years to enjoy before it all kicks off. Make the most of it.

😂
Original Nintendo Wii for MarioKart and Wii Sports for bowling and tennis.
Graphics arnt up to much (compared to nowadays) but for a fun console with zero internet tw4t interference, you cant beat it.
Mario Kart 8 is available on Switch or Wii U. Switch version has minor updates.
Wii U and games are cheap as chips on the second hand market but Switch doubles as a hand held and will be more future proof.
+1 s/h Wii. Kids don’t give a monkeys about the graphics. It’s the fun they care about and the Wii (and its successors) deliver in bucket loads.

Switch version of Mariokart 8 is fully unlocked. Takes all the fun out of it IMO.

We have a Wii, bear in mind Gamecube games work on there as well (with the pads) so Double Dash is another possibility. Co-op is better on DD as well. Just for god's sake don't play with him or he'll be happily marching into school announcing that Mario is a * * * blue shell tossing * Bowser * * weasel.

Super Smash Brothers, Zelda Windwaker and F Zero are all must haves for Gamecube at that age.

Oh, thought this was about tables.
