My chillies are starting to ripen, I've got my usual Red Aji and Carolina reapers but I've also put in a turtle claw and a death spiral naga which looks amazing so I'm excited to try it.
What have you got and how are they doing?
I tend to grow mild but flavourful varieties as you end up with so many chillies it’s nice to be able to use them really liberally - this year a couple of last years Trinidad Perfume plants have done really well.
also planted some new Spaghetti Chilllies but have been a bit too busy to nurture them so hopefully they’ll do better next year.
We have two large Padron, a couple of Lemon Drop and a Habanero. All are prodcing, but we need some ripening on the two stronger types. Still not able to take fruit from them yet.
Apache. Not ripening yet but plenty there.
Hungarian Hot Wax. Producing plenty, one or two are ready for picking. No idea of the strength though.
3x unknown - I'll keep the tags next time. Not even close to being ripe yet.

Apaches are good, only little but you get tonnes of them and probably a few waves of fruit too if you satrt just picking off the ripe ones.
Not the most flavorsome but decent heat.
Basket of Fire. Hundreds (well tens) of them, some have been ripe for a couple of months. 10 seeds sown in the same pot but they don't seem to mind the crowding.
Hungarian Hot Wax. Producing plenty, one or two are ready for picking. No idea of the strength though.
contrary to what name suggests they’re very mild, almost a sweet pepper. Nice chopped up fresh into a little olive oil and sprinkled over salads - tasty and a little bit of nip but doesn’t overpower everything else on the plate
