I bought a pair of Anker Soundcore Life earbuds just over a year ago.
I was quite happy with them, sound quality fine, used for podcasts 90% of the time.
One of them has died on me, shows as connected, allows me to pause but does not make a sound.
They are still under warranty and I am the process of getting a refund.
I am a little reluctant to buy again, as they have failed, I may of just been unlucky and up until yesterday, I was quite happy.
They are only £28 on amazon at the moment, so seem quite good value and have a 18 month warranty.
Any other suggestions for around £30 - £50?
Book marking as MrsRNP is after some cheap/decent earbuds
Depends what you define as cheap. I have some Denon ANC from Richer sounds.
They seem to do the job for me. Paid around £80.
Scan have the plantronics backbeat pro 5100 at a decent price.
Soundguys gave them a decent review.
I got a pair of these, Earfun ones. They were the cheapest on a list of 10 best fom What HiFi. 30 quid. Sound OK to me and link quickly and reliably to my phone.
I’d just recommend avoiding skull candy which are often around that price. Some of the tinniest sounding headphones I’ve ever had. No bass whatsoever.
I did like the Mixx Audio ultra fit headphones I had for a long time. They aren’t true wireless though - they have a neck band that connects to each ear bud. Surprisingly bassy for a £20 set of headphones. Only stopped using them because I got some Anker Soundcore Liberty pro 2’s. They have been excellent so far after picking them up from a psa on here for half price (£50). Must have had them a few years so far.
I've been using a pair of Xiaomi redmi airdots for the last 2 years, as good as the day I bought them and used weekly, £20. Very impressed with the audio quality.
Sony WF-C500 are just a bit above that price, and I'm very happy with mine.
CeX are selling the Galaxy Buds+ for £50 with two year warranty. The sound is very good, decent battery life, fit me well, charger pod seems good...but personally I don't like the gestures. I think I should probably have spent extra and got the Google ones.
I have a pair of Adidas FWD-01which I think are great for the money (I paid £23). Comfortable and never fall out even on sweaty runs.
I have some mpow x3s which were very cheap from alliexpress and impressive sound
But the JBL ones I have are a bit better and longer battery life
I have some Btootos, A90 pro which were under twenty quid from Amazon. I only got them as I wanted something easy to wear under a hat in winter so cheap wa good!
Used mainly for podcasts on the commute. They are great for this. Good battery life, good connectivity and a comfortable fit. Not as good as more expensive kit for music listening but perfectly acceptable for a commute.
These creative ones look good value with the 25 off voucher on the Amazon listing
CREATIVE Outlier Pro True Wireless Headphone IPX5 Sweatproof In-ear earbuds, Hybrid ANC, Ambient Mode, Wireless Charging, Bluetooth 5.2, 60hr Battery https://amzn.eu/d/6Zh32Ft
Thanks @cp
Went for those Creative Outlier Pro's. £43 with voucher.
Arrived today, they are very impressive, way better than the Anker's I sent back.
